It was an overcast, sometimes rainy day day in August when Jess and Nic got married at The Grand in Essexville, but we’re not afraid of a little rain. In fact, the light on overcast days tends to be beautifully soft and flattering. We love the portraits that Sara captured of the beautiful bride and her girls before the ceremony, as well as Nic with his guys. Later in the day, the rain stopped long enough for Sara to take the bride and groom outside for some portraits of just the two of them. We love Jess and Nic’s grouping of wedding images because there is such a diversity of light and backgrounds – some cloudy dramatic shots, lovely images inside The Grand and sunny portraits in the gardens outside.
Jess and Nic are a lovely couple and we’re so glad we could capture the first day of their life together as husband and wife. Congratulations you two!
