Marissa and Michael chose to do their engagement session in downtown Bay City, which made me really happy. I love shooting in Bay City and the downtown area offers a lot of fun and interesting backgrounds. My favorite is the old abandoned building in the first two images below – it has a lot of character and I love using it for shoots.
I had so much fun working with Marissa and Michael. Even though we did a lot of walking, these two were troopers and just enjoyed spending the afternoon together. It was easy to capture them being romantic together. And they showed no hesitation when I asked them to dance together in front of the camera, which is always a plus.
Looking forward to photographing your wedding in August, Marissa and Michael! I know it’s going to be a fun and joyful day!
