Winter weddings in Michigan are usually not a couple’s first choice, because the weather can be so unpredictable. But Brianne and Cody absolutely embraced the winter weather with their stunning decorations, color choices, wedding party gifts and general joy at the snow we got on their wedding day!
The bouquets, boutonnieres and decorations incorporated pinecones and pine and looked perfect with the navy dresses that the bridesmaids wore. The girls came prepared for photos in the snow by bringing along snow boots to wear after the ceremony! Brianne also gave the girls warm scarves as a gift – not only practical, but also super cute in photos!
During photos between the ceremony and reception, we went to two locations: a private property owned by a friend of the bride and groom and the area around the Covered Bridge and Riverplace in Frankenmuth. I was in love with the backdrops and options for photos on the private property. It was peaceful and beautiful, and while we were there, it started snowing – big, fluffy beautiful flakes of snow perfect for photos!
Brianne and Cody were a joy to photograph. They obviously love each other very much and were so sweet together.
And their reception was gorgeous! The decor was stunning. My assistant and I were so impressed and couldn’t stop talking about the amazing job that Something Borrowed, Something New did. Also…the food. Poblano‘s of Frankenmuth did the catering and it was delicious.
Mr. and Mrs. Hobson, thank you for choosing Enjoy the View to capture your wedding day! I had so much fun and it was an honor to witness and photograph your winter wonderland wedding!
