“I won’t give up on us
Even if the skies get rough
I’m giving you all my love
I’m still looking up…”
– Jason Mraz, “I Won’t Give Up”
Aliesa and Cody are high school sweethearts who have been together for about six years. They got married on a winter day in January, but even though it was very cold outside, the day was absolutely warm and beautiful.
We loved the colors of the day (gray and light pink) and especially loved the accents of succulents in the bride’s bouquet. The bridesmaids carried pink scarves with their gray dresses, which looked gorgeous.
The bride and groom’s nephew was ring bearer and carried a super cute sign when we walked down the aisle (“Uncle Cody, here comes your bride”) and back up the aisle after the ceremony (‘Don’t worry, ladies, I’m still single!”) – love it!
After the ceremony, the bride, groom and wedding party braved the cold and stepped outside for a few minutes for photos. We’re so glad they did; the snow was falling in big magical flakes and those photos are some of our favorites of the day!
The reception at Atlas Valley Country Club was decorated beautifully. The draping and lighting really transformed the space – we’ve worked at Atlas Valley many times and have never seen it like this! The white draping and cool colors really fit the winter wedding theme.
It truly was a beautiful day. Congratulations, Aliesa and Cody! We hope you enjoyed your Disney honeymoon and wish you the best as husband and wife!
We love these next three shots of the bride and groom!
The reception looked amazing, thanks to Bella I’venti (flowers and centerpieces) and The Whole 9 Yards (lighting and draping)! And DJ Cha’Chi kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the night.
