Meredith and Eric…these two make a stunning couple! Their wedding day was gorgeous, with navy suits for the guys, gray dresses for the bridesmaids and pops of pinks and oranges in the flowers. Meredith’s dress was so lovely and she accessorized it perfectly with pearls. And her shoes were amazing!
The bride and her girls got ready at her parents house, where they had hair and makeup done on-site. Meredith’s two dogs were there to keep everyone entertained!
I met the guys at the church and ran into the florist there and grabbed Meredith’s bouquet for a few shots. It was beautiful!
The ceremony was made especially touching by the fact that Meredith’s dad walked her down the aisle, then changed into his garments and performed the ceremony!

For photos of the wedding party and the bride and groom, we headed to Leap of Faith Barn in Holly, where the reception was held. We got there well before guests started arriving and got to use the beautiful grounds for photos of the wedding party and bride and groom.
After wrapping up photos, the wedding party headed to downtown Fenton for drinks and I stayed at the barn to capture the details of Meredith and Eric’s day and get set up for their big entrance!
After toasts, prayer, dinner and cutting the cake, the dancing started with Meredith and Eric’s first dance, followed by Meredith and her dad, the Eric and his mom. After that, the dance floor officially opened for everyone!
I seriously love it when brides and grooms are willing to step away from their reception for a bit and hang out with me for some evening portraits. The summer evening light is so gorgeous and I love facilitating a little private time for the couple. Wedding days go back so fast and I think these little moments of being together are so important!
