I love orchards and cider mills. Last year, I think I went to four orchards to enjoy the fall colors, eat donuts and drink cider. It’s one of my favorite activities in fall. So when I found out that Virginia and Jason were getting married at The Country Mill in Charlotte, I was super excited! Even though I had never been there, I knew the orchard would be a great location for photos.
The weather was extremely varied all day. It started off cloudy, then sunny, then party cloudy, then even some rain (but after the outdoor ceremony and just for short time – whew)! We were able to use the grounds at the orchard for photos before and after the ceremony.
Wasn’t Virginia a stunning bride?
I love the way The Country Mill has their ceremony site set up. It’s in a small clearing among the apple and peach trees and the bride and groom stand on a small hill while they exchange their vows.
How cute are the flower girls and ring bearer?
I was so happy that we had gorgeous light for the portraits of the bride and groom!
At this exact moment, Virginia and Jason’s romantic first dance song cut to “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” (per the bride’s request). I love their laughter!
Virginia and Jason were sweet enough to slip out the reception to catch some great evening light for a few portraits.
Virginia and Jason, it was a pleasure working with you! Thank you much for choosing ETV to capture your day!
