Amanda and Matt had a beautiful wedding day with lots of personal details incorporated into it. They are a wonderful couple and mesh so well together.
The Bed & Breakfast where the ceremony took place (Garden Gate B&B) was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the way the owners restored this beautiful older house, including the staircase, which I would guess is original to the home.
Amanda and Matt put their personal signature on so many elements of their day including his kilt, her green shoes, their love of travel (guests signed a world map in lieu of a guest book at the reception), and her love of Ceili dance. Their reception was held at the Frankenmuth Brewery, which is one of our favorite local venues. For Matt and his family, who are from Colorado, and Amanda and her family, who are from a different part of Michigan, this was a destination wedding of sorts.
We’re so glad Amanda and Matt chose us to be their photographers. We really enjoyed working with them both and wish them all the best in the future!
