Brittnie and Chris sure have had a lot of weather whenever I’ve photographed them! Their engagement session was on a very bitterly cold day in winter (during which they were superstars). Then, on their wedding day, it poured about 45 minutes before their outdoor ceremony! The wind knocked over cocktail tables under their reception tent, linens got soaked and all the chairs for the ceremony had to be wiped dry. Fortunately, the rain passed and the weather cleared just in time for the ceremony to start. Whew!
The venue for Brittnie and Chris’ day was stunning: Everlastings in the Wildwood in Owosso. It’s a greenhouse/nursery turned wedding venue (while still an active nursery) with so many great spots for photos that I could have spent an entire week shooting there. The staff was very nice and incredibly helpful as well.
From beginning to end, Brittnie and Chrs were a pleasure to work with on their wedding day. Absolutely loved their color scheme, flowers, menswear and the incredible mother/son dance that started slow and then cut into a synchronized dance to “What Does The Fox Say?” I mean, it doesn’t get any more epic than that.
Being a part of this day was truly a joy. Mr. and Mrs. Shannon, thank you for choosing ETV! – Bri
