I absolutely loved being a part of Brooke and Eric’s day! They are such a fun and loving couple.
I started the day by going to the hotel where the bride and groom were getting ready. First Brooke got into her dress and then I spent some time with Eric while he finished getting ready. Then, Eric put on a blindfold so he and Brooke and the rest of the wedding party could all ride together to a local park where they would have their first look.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when Eric saw his bride for the first time. When he took off his blindfold and saw Brooke standing in front of him, his joy was so obvious! It made me tear up behind the camera!
After I photographed the wedding party and bride and groom at the park for a while, we headed to the Lapeer County Club for the ceremony and reception. I really love the grounds at the Lapeer Country Club – there are plenty of great spots for photos, especially at golden hour. I’m really glad Brooke and Eric set aside some time during their reception to step outside for more photos.
