Kelsey & Shane {Flint Wedding Photographers}

We have known Shane for several years and we were so happy for him when he met Kelsey and especially stoked when they asked us to photograph their wedding!

Their day was beautiful from start to finish! We began at West Court Street Church of God, which Kelsey’s grandparents helped establish. Their ceremony had one of the best messages about marriage that I (Beth) have ever heard! That’s saying a lot considering that I have been to over 500 weddings in my career! I think I complimented the pastor at least 3 times, haha. If my memory serves me correctly, the pastor was a family friend that lives out of state and came back to Michigan to perform their ceremony and she really did a fantastic job.

The rain held off for all of the pre-ceremony photos outside (which was great because the couple had a first look and we accomplished the majority of their photos during that time) but started coming down right as we were leaving the church to head out for outdoor photos on location. We incorporated some clear umbrellas and covered our gear and went for it! The rain stopped and were able to get lots of photos of the couple and the bridal party on the bricks in Flint.

Their reception was held at Ascension Genesys Banquet and Conference Center. The dance floor was full and the joy of the evening was obvious throughout!

Kelsey & Shane: we wish you many, many blessings throughout your married lives! Thank you so much for asking us to document your day!
