Codi and Logan got married on one of the hottest days this summer – AND they had an outdoor ceremony! I was a bit worried about how the bride and groom would hold up on the day, but both Codi and Logan were absolutely wonderful, even in the 95 degree heat!
Some of my favorite parts of their day included Codi’s first look with her dad, the fun portraits I took of Logan as he was cheesing for his buddies behind me and when a family of deer walked through the backyard during the ceremony, right in full view of all the guests.
On our way to the reception, it started raining…I mean, really really raining. The sky got very dark, it was thundering and I thought I might have to pull off the road to wait it out so I could be sure to see the road clearly! Fortunately, everyone made it safely to the reception and I was so thankful the rain had held out until AFTER portraits of the bride and groom!
