When Erin & Ryan came into our studio and we met them initially we were immediately excited for their wedding day. Not only are they are friendly & funny couple, the Frankenmuth Brewery is one of our favorite venues to photograph weddings at.
The couple got ready at a local hotel and then opted for a first look before the ceremony so that we could take the family portraits beforehand. Their ceremony was held inside but the floor to ceiling windows surrounding them created the feeling of being outside. Erin’s Grandfather officiated and the couple wrote their own vows, both of which made their ceremony unique & personal.
We snuck out for a bit with the couple and were able to use the brewing equipment as a background for some of the images. We think the images turned out pretty sweet and we wanted to incorporate the couple’s love of craft beer. That interest was part of the reason they chose the Brewery and Ryan even brews his own beer at home.
The reception was rockin’ and also full of personal touches, like a pizza cake topper to incorporate how the couple met (and of course their love of Dominos Pizza!). Even their hashtag reflects their wonderful senses of humor (#wedthefrick – a play on their new last name!)
Erin & Ryan, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day and capture these memories for you! We wish you many years of laughter and adventure together! – Beth & Mike
