17 years folks. That’s how long we’ve been photographing weddings. In that time we have photographed hundreds of weddings and Megan & Eric’s wedding was one for the books! They were so full of joy and love for one another it was contagious!
Their day began at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville where some of the highlights included Megan’s first look with her dad and of course their beautiful, personalized ceremony. We visited Heritage Park in Frankenmuth for portraits of the bridal party, which was a great spot not only because it’s just minutes from the reception location but also because we incorporated the couple’s love of baseball into their photos using the dugout there.
Black Forest in Frankenmuth hosted their reception, which was elegantly decorated and an absolute blast for all of the guests. DJ Joe Fila from Active Entertainment rocked the dance floor and of course Sie Leben Hoch, a German tradition of sending the new couple good wishes by hoisting them in chairs and drinking beer!
One fun part of the day for us was that we had photographed two of the bridesmaids weddings and Eric’s sister & brother in law’s wedding previously. It’s always great to see “our” couples and work with them again!
Megan & Eric: we wish you the absolute best that life has to offer for your marriage! We adored working with you both and hope to do so many times in the future! -Beth & Mike
