Recently we had the extreme pleasure of documenting Bri & Nate’s proposal. He did such a great job planning the whole operation and surprising her! He took her to Cross Park in Frankenmuth and got down on one knee in … Continue reading
Here’s to our first throw back Thursday! We recently got to visit with our long-lost friend, Bri, and miss her something terrible. These were taken a couple years ago… we definitely had a laugh when we came across these photos 🙂
10 years ago today I photographed my first wedding. What an amazing and wonderful journey this has been! Photography has allowed us to meet some truly amazing people and we are so thankful to each and every one of you that have supported us over the years!
I think back to that morning 10 years ago and remember how nervous and excited I was. At that time, I worked two other jobs, lived in a small apartment with a roommate, and saved up every spare penny to invest into my photography equipment. As soon as I left that wedding that night I knew there was no turning back. I had found my career and my calling.
I was determined to do whatever it took to make this dream a reality. I remember my typical schedule a few years later: wake up at 10 am, work my “day job” as a studio manager at another photography company from 11 am to 7 pm, go home and edit wedding images from 8 pm to 1 am, visit with Mike (he worked 3rd shift at the time) from 1 to 3 am, go to sleep to wake up and do it all over again the next day! Throw in a wedding every weekend and…whew! Thankfully, our hard work paid off and 5 years ago we were both able to quit our day jobs to focus on our photography full time. There is no other job that I would rather have and I know that we are truly blessed! Again, thank you to each and every client that has trusted us to document your memories over the last 10 years. You will never know how much we genuinely appreciate you.
Happy Easter to all our peeps! May you all have a blessed day!
Wishing all of our friends, family & clients a very Happy New Year! May 2012 bring you health, happiness, and lots of wonderful memories!
We would be honored to capture & preserve your memories this year. Plans are already full-steam ahead for 2012 and we are thrilled for yet another year to surpass your expectations in all that we do.
