Amber & Brad {Essexville Wedding Photographers}

When I shot Amber and Brad’s engagement session last fall, it seemed like their wedding date in May was a long way away. But of course, time flies and before I knew it, it was Amber and Brad’s wedding day! I was very excited to photograph it, as I’ve known Amber for many years and I really enjoyed photographing her with Brad during their engagement session. They compliment each other very well and photograph beautifully together!

Both their ceremony and reception took place at The Grand in Essexville, a venue we’ve worked at many times. Amber and I had our fingers crossed for overcast skies (much better than bright sun for portraits), but when I arrived, there were hardly any clouds in the sky! Fortunately, as the day went on, we had a little more cloud cover.

Amber incorporated a lot of beautiful mementos of her late mother into her day, including a pendant on her bouquet and a photo that was placed in a reserved seat for the ceremony.

Believe it or not, the bouquets were made from wood flowers! They were gorgeous.

Amber’s sister-in-law and Brad’s daughter helped her into her dress…

…and then it was time for the bride and groom to see each other for their first look!

Amber’s dad also had a small first look with his daughter and got teary when he saw Amber in her wedding dress.

The outdoor ceremony was beautiful!

We got a shot of Amber and Brad with her mother’s car…

…and spent some time in the gardens of The Grand for portraits.

The wedding and reception reflected Brad’s love of music with so many cute details!

Amber’s dad changed his suit for the reception and he was styling!

Amber and her brother shared a dance in honor of their mother, which was such a sweet moment.

Outdoor photos at sunset are my favorite! These guys got a great sunset too.

I absolutely loved being a part of this wedding and capturing Amber and Brad’s first day as Mr. and Mrs.! It was a beautiful event and I am truly honored I got to photograph it.
