We were a bit worried about the weather the week leading up to Jennifer and Zach’s big day. It was supposed to be rainy; the bride and groom even had a plan B location picked out in case their outdoor ceremony got rained out! Fortunately, the weather was beautiful and so was the couple!
We started the day at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bay City – we just love the big suite where brides often get ready there. There’s plenty of natural light to make some gorgeous photos. Jennifer was absolutely stunning! Her hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes and dress coordinated perfectly for an old Hollywood glam feel.
We loved Zach’s look too! His navy jacket with tails and dapper tie were awesome!
Jennifer and Zach chose to do a first look and we loved the look on Zach’s face when he saw his bride for the first time!
We photographed the wedding party by the water AND on the Appledore tall ship, which is docked near the DoubleTree. The ship was so pretty and made for some amazing photos.
We were able to get some beautiful portraits of Jennifer before the ceremony started…
…and the weather was perfect!
After the ceremony, we headed to downtown Bay City for some more portraits of the wedding party…
…and then back to the DoubleTree to start the party!
