Katie & Dustin {Frankenmuth Renaissance Wedding}

Katie and Dustin’s wedding was like a breath of fresh air in that it was so unique – it was renaissance themed! This was my first themed wedding and I have to say, I loved it!

The bride and groom made their own attire for the day (super impressive) and their wedding party, immediate families and most of their guests also dressed in Renaissance clothing. The setting for their day (the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth) fit the theme perfectly.

I mean, look at all these amazing outfits!

Katie did her own hair and makeup and was a beautiful bride:

Katie and Dustin had a lot of unique touches in their ceremony, including signing the marriage license on each other’s backs!

The reception took place in the Alpine Room in the Bavarian Inn Restaurant:

Love that Katie sister, her maid of honor, put her toast on a scroll!

Bread pudding instead of cake!

After some special dances, the dance floor opened up for contra dancing, led by a live band and caller. It was so much fun to watch!

Katie and Dustin, thank you so much for having us as a part of your amazing day!
