Recently we had the extreme pleasure of documenting Bri & Nate’s proposal. He did such a great job planning the whole operation and surprising her! He took her to Cross Park in Frankenmuth and got down on one knee in a wooden gazebo that he made. Yes, he made it himself. Awwww.
We were in full stealth mode. We even borrowed camo jackets from my sister and brother in law. Can anyone find Mike in the photo below?
After they arrived, Nate led a unsuspecting Bri into the gazebo (which we later deemed the “love hut”) and asked her to spend her forever with him. It was amazing. I was shaking with excitement and my heart was pounding!
After soaking in the moment, Bri soon discovered us. We popped out and were honored to be the first to offer our sincere congratulations. How cool is that?
Immediately, Nate’s sister, Rachel, and her fiance, Joe (who helped the plan unfold without a hitch) were there to congratulate and admire the ring.
These two. Seriously, couples do not come any cuter than this! They are perfect for each other. They have a really great story, which includes meeting in college and being super close friends for something like 13 years! Next thing they knew, they were falling head over heels in love. Since they are both creatives (Nate is a graphic designer and Bri is a photographer, who by the way happens to work at Enjoy the View Photography), photographing them is a breeze. The fact that they are crazy about each other also helps. 🙂
Following our mini engagement session, we were off first to Heritage Park in Frankenmuth where they celebrated with some of their closest family & friends and then the Frankenmuth Brewery for dinner with everyone.
Look at that smile! She’s glowing already and she’s not even sporting the white dress yet.
Bri & Nate: we can’t thank you enough for having us as a part of your celebration. We are sooo excited for you and CANNOT WAIT to photograph your wedding. We love you both!
Beth & Mike
